Hersh Mehta is a seasoned patent litigator with an electrical engineering degree and 15 years of experience counseling clients in intellectual property disputes. Hersh has served as lead counsel in U.S. district and appellate courts, before the U.S. International Trade Commission, and in AIA post-grant and inter partes review (IPR) proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is well-versed in handling all stages of litigation, including pleadings, fact and expert discovery, motion practice, court hearings, claim construction, trial practice, and appeals. His experience spans all disciplines of electrical and computer engineering.

Hersh also has experience as in-house litigation counsel at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company. During this time, he managed outside litigation counsel in U.S. and international patent litigations and advised leadership on litigation strategy and risk avoidance.

In addition to his litigation practice, Hersh counsels clients on a wide range of technology and intellectual property issues, including intellectual property licensing, technology standards, trademark protection and prosecution, intellectual property due diligence, technology-related agreements, and employment issues related to protecting intellectual property.

Hersh was previously a partner at Morgan Lewis and McDermott Will & Schulte.
